What is weathering plate?
Weathering plate is atmospheric corrosion resistant steel, is a series of low alloy steel between ordinary steel and stainless steel, weathering steel from ordinary carbon steel with a small amount of copper, nickel and other corrosion-resistant elements, with high-quality steel, strong, plastic extension, forming, welding, abrasion, high temperature, fatigue resistance and other characteristics.

The use of weathering plate.
1, high performance weathering steel and fire resistant steel can reduce the maintenance costs of steel structures, providing a new solution to the problem of fire and corrosion protection of exposed unprotected steel structures, such as high-voltage electrical towers.
2, the production and installation process of fire-resistant weathering steel is basically the same as conventional steel, and the design method is the same as ordinary steel structures, but more tests are needed to verify.
