According to the research of American Armco Steel Company, this is related to improving the plastic deformation anisotropy of steel plates, which improves the stamping formability of steel plates. In recent years, on the basis of loose coil annealed steel plates, the united annealing method (U.A.D) has been developed. This is to weld several coils of steel plates into a coil and put them in a special annealing furnace for decarburization, which has the advantage of saving costs compared with loose coil annealing, The steel plates treated in this way have been widely used in cold rolled steel plates for drawing.

Compared with cold-rolled steel plate, the manufacturing process is simpler and the cost is lower. However, foreign experience suggests that the hot rolling method is only suitable for manufacturing steel plates with a thickness of more than 1.6 mm. For thinner steel plates, it is uneconomical. The surface quality and dimensional accuracy of hot-rolled steel plates are inferior to those of cold-rolled steel plates. In addition to the longitudinal beam, cross beam and various supports of the vehicle frame, hot-rolled steel plates also press wheel rims, wheel discs, etc. that require a certain strength, and have little force Shell cover plates with low surface requirements.
